Participates in the interviewing of patients and assessing them through mental status as well as reviewing records obtained from other patient care staff.
- Selects and completes appropriate therapeutic interventions based upon clinical knowledge base and educational background (to include individual, group, family, and experiential based models).
- Provides comprehensive psychological and developmental assessment of children and adults, including those with neurodevelopmental differences.
- Provides individual, family and group therapies based on the developmental and behavioral health needs of the client.
- Develops and manages behavioral plans for clients as necessary.
- Collaborates with other treatment team members regarding patients’ progress through

interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions.
- Ensures that medical record documentation protocols are complied with. Ensures that patients’ progress notes are entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in accordance with established organizational procedures.
- May coordinate services and community resources as needed and assist clients in obtaining them.
- Participates regularly in staff meetings.
- Maintains all state licensure requirements. Builds knowledge of current trends anddevelopments in assessment and treatment through the use of appropriate professional literature, medical workshops and publications. Fulfills continuing education requirements as required by state licensing or the APA.
- Provides training/supervision to interns as assigned.
- Participates in education and training programs for patients, families, or communitygroups.
- Provides consultation to professionals, hospitals, organizations, schools or agenciesoutside of this organization
- Must maintain all other position-specific training as required for licensing.
- Membership and involvement in local, state, and national professional organizations isencouraged.
- Assist the President and/or Clinical Director in developing clinical programs for childrenand families.
- Model and promote good communication, customer service, and positiverepresentation of the organization to clients, customers, referral sources and the public.
- Other responsibilities as requested by the President and/or Clinical Director.
