We are looking for an experienced Manager of Facilities to oversee Brandt’s extensive property portfolio. You and your team are responsible for maintaining the condition of our buildings’ infrastructures, responding to and resolving facility issues identified by our tenants, and ensuring compliance with the Brandt Standards for facility excellence.

Our goal is to ensure our Facilities are well maintained, clean, and safe so that we can deliver a superior and consistent experience to our customers across our entire Canadian footprint, as well as to provide Brandt employees the best working environment.

Brandt facilities are important assets to the company and demonstrate commitment to our customers and our employees. Their look, feel and upkeep are important. The Manager of Facilities plays a key role within our Developments group to maintain these assets.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Utilize existing short and long-term maintenance and CapEx plans for each property
- Managing Branding and Lean Team coordination.
- Managing Brandt’s furniture, demountable walls, and other fixture assets.
- Maintain Asset data base and Facility Management plans.
- Support Facility Managers to direct contractors and vendors on small renovations.
- Managing our Team of Facility Managers, located throughout our portfolio, to deliver effective operations and maintenance.
- Ensure buildings interiors align with the Brandt Standards.
- Contract Management in collaboration with Facilities managers and Brandt’s Purchasing Dept.
- Investigate government grants and rebates for upgrades to facilities
- Focus on key performance to lower operating costs while maintaining the highest standards for our facilities
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Manager of Facilities or relevant position
- Degree in facilities management, Interior Design or related field
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent organization and leadership skills
- Time management skills
- Strong analytical/critical thinking
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFM) will be an advantage
- Passionate about delivery of consistent excellence
