Job Profile and Description

The role of the dishwasher is to ensure the availability of clean dishes for the restaurant. This position holds value due to the amount of organization, prioritizing and efficiency that is needed for operations.

Report To - General Manager, Kitchen Manager and BOH Leads

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all health, safety, sanitation and hygiene guidelines are met
- Accountable for the execution of all daily cleaning checklists, weekly cleaning checklists, and the general tidiness of dishwasher area throughout shift
- Maintain and enforce Stella’s “clean as you go” procedures and sanitize areas before and after use
- Exhibit exacting personal uniform and personal hygiene standards
- Operate and maintain industrial dishwasher
- Wash all glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Clean dish storage
- Assist in replenishing stock of clean dishware
- Follow and check off all cleaning checklists
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to Kitchen Manager or leads
- Ensure that the garbage has been taken out and bins cleaned thoroughly
- Duties as assigned
