**Production Manager** - Optimizing Production and Fulfilling Customer Commitments

Job Location: Saint-Leonard (Head Office), with availability to travel to support all business units.
Reports to: Plant Manager

**Job Profile**
- Coordinate production workflow for all NPBO (samples and trials) dockets
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay for all dockets in building
- Coordinate and plan the scheduling requirements for the recycling assets (repro machines) to ensure the Repro resin demand is met
- Collaborate with raw material coordinators to ensure the scrap feed to the repro machine is available to keep the assets running
- Develop KPIs for the scrap processing operation (repro machines)
- Coordinate with lead hands the assignment of workers and other staff to cover production demands for all dockets scheduled
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget (Prime quality and mínimal scrap)
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports (total lbs produced, assets underperforming (low rate and high scrap generation) and providing reason for underperformance
- Develop action plans with production, maintenance, engineering teams to address production lines of concern
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff to achieve the Critical Operating Tasks (COTs) set by Balcan business team
- Work with the Lead Hand and the Material Handler to plan and prepare for future production jobs
- Train team members and perform quality checks on the line
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Make recommendations for productivity, quality, and safety improvements
- Promote and foster a team environment

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production management and/or diploma in related field Experience working in the manufacturing industry Problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication skills Knowledge and experience as an operator Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Proficient computer skills Organizational skills, leadership, and influence Competencies & Skills Strong decision-making capabilities.
