**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Must have Dietary Food Service Workers Certificate, be enrolled in program or show proof of future enrollment in program, with willingness to complete in 3 years.
- Food Handlers Certificate required and knowledge of safe food handling.
- Institutional food service experience.
- Familiarity with therapeutic diets.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift an average of 15 lbs.
- Knowledge of proper body mechanics to meet the physical demands of the job for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays.
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
