The OSEG Foundation is looking to hire high-energy motivated sellers to join our 50/50 Game Day Raffle sales team. Through the OSEG Foundation’s 50/50 raffles, one lucky winner receives 50% of the jackpot and the remaining 50% is directed to the OSEG Foundation to support its ongoing charitable efforts.
50/50 draws are held at sporting events associated with the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) including Ottawa REDBLACKS, Ottawa 67’s, Ottawa BlackJacks, and Atlético Ottawa home games along with other special events at TD Place.
**_ What you’ll do:_**
- Actively sell, handle and distribute 50/50 tickets within TD Place either at a stationary kiosk or as a roaming sales representative during REDBLACKS home games;
- Effectively promote the 50/50 raffle and the OSEG Foundation to fans;
- Effectively meet and exceed sales goals;
- Clearly communicate with fans;
- Answer general inquiries about the 50/50 program;
- Embody the OSEG mantra of One Team, One Vision.
**_ What’s needed:_**
- Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic and professional attitude;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a large crowd/fan base in a fast-paced environment;
- Previous sales experience an asset;
- Genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports and entertainment sector;
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as required for the REDBLACKS Home Game schedule).
- Additional 50/50 sellers shifts are available at Ottawa 67’s, Ottawa BlackJacks and Atlético Ottawa home games, and other special events at TD Place.
