Type of position: Part-time employee

Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays; Starting 10 hours per week with opportunity for growth

Pay: $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Must be based in Canada

Your Content Empire is looking for an experienced content marketer & copywriter to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for planning marketing campaigns, writing blog posts and social media copy for our brand and client brands and ensuring quality control from copy submitted by other team members.

This is a part-time role starting with 10 hours per week. Must have daytime availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays for meetings and collaborative work.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience in writing copy for an online business
- 3-5 years experience in writing blog posts
- Experience in designing marketing campaigns and strategies
- Background in marketing, communications or online business
- Daytime availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays (PST timezone)

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary:

- Editing and reviewing quality control on copy and designs submitted by other team members
- Secondary:

- Planning marketing campaigns and content calendars
- Preparing writing and design assignments to execute marketing campaigns and strategies
- Keeping content asset library organized and up to date

**Qualities**:

- You have demonstrable experience in writing promotional copy for online businesses
- You’re a problem solver and can work with mínimal supervision and oversight
- You’re able to meet deadlines
- You’re a strong communicator and have a positive attitude
- You have strong attention to detail and are very organized
- Must be open to feedback and eager to learn more and improve skills
