**About us**

Boketto is a dessert cafe in River District neighbourhood in South Vancouver, BC. Looking for Experienced Barista to join our team:
Responsibilities for Barista
- Prepare and serve Matcha and Bubble tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Ensure the kitchen & all areas are clean and sanitized at all times
- Carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient workspace

Requirements:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience as Barista in Canada
- Having a knowledge of Latte Art is preferred
- Having a knowledge of how to bake pastries is preferred
- Being Canadian Citizen ot Permanent resident is preferred.
- Fluent is English is a must
- Food Safe Cetificate Level 1 is required before starting the job
- Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday & Sunday ) 10 a.m. till 11 p.m. is Preferred.
- Minimum 3 days availability during business hours is a must. Must be available to work weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V5S 0E3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
