We need Forklift Driver’s to start immediately at our Brampton Plant, near Steeles and Finch across the road from Wet N Wild Toronto.

Start Date: Immediate

**Job Description**:
Forklift Operator (Counter balance, Propane) is responsible for safe handling and storage of material and the safe operation of a forklift.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Comply with all quality related policies, procedures and system requirements.
- Ensure forklift is in good working condition.
- Do forklift maintenance checks each day before start-up.
- Ensure that the presses do not have to wait for billets.
- Ensure all age ovens are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
- Ensure all aluminum scrap bins at saw locations and presses are emptied half hour before end of each shift.
- Stack material without causing damage to the load below it.
- Ensure all paper work is complete and follows the material to the next stage.

This job is a combination of helping at the pack station at the saw and driving the forklift.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Must be able to read and write English and be familiar with weights and measurements. Basic Aptitude test will be conducted during interview.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must have training in forklift driving and its safe operation through a recognized institute.
- Must have valid forklift license.

**_Must be able to work 12 hours continental shifts, shift rotating every two weeks, days to nights._**

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Able to work rotating continental shift
- Personable with clear communication skills
- Must have a valid Forklift license
- Able to drive Counterbalance Forklift (Propane)
- Able to work well with others in a team environment
- Good attitude required
- Good knowledge and record of safety, quality and productivity around the aluminum extrusion press

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.87 per hour
