**Full Time hours**: Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm with occasional overtime. Compensation includes competitive wage, paid time off, benefit & pension plan.

**Duties**:

- Work directly with Schreiter’s Delivery Associate to plan deliveries and deliver merchandise unpacked and assembled into our customers homes
- Construct, deconstruct and repair products as required
- Assist in loading the truck, ensuring all products and parts are on board before departing
- Regularly drive a 25-foot straight truck to deliver merchandise or transfer merchandise from offsite warehouse to storefront
- Complete daily warehouse functions including shipping, receiving and storage of all merchandise
- Provide in-store merchandising support moving showroom furniture as directed to update floor displays
- Supply management
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicle
- Complete routine physical store and warehouse maintenance such as sweeping, garbage and recycling, occasional shoveling, etc
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Ability to safely lift heavy boxes and furniture
- Ability to build and prepare furniture for delivery ensuring quality standards are met
- Good mechanical aptitude
- 3 years of experience driving a heavy commercial vehicle, verified by references
- 2 years of practical work experience in a customer service role
- Class G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Experience in the furniture industry would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42 per week
