**Job Description**:
We are looking to add a **Yard Supervisor** to the very busy Aurora Heavy Truck - This will require relocation to Hay River, NWT.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the yard, including loading and unloading of materials, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Train and mentor yard staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory counts as needed, maintaining accurate records of materials on-site.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying any maintenance needs and coordinating repairs as necessary.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline operations within the yard.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be willing to relocate to Hay River, NWT
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, operations management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a yard or warehouse setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to yard operations.
- Forklift certification and experience operating heavy machinery preferred.
