Reports to: JR Sous, Sous Chef, Head Chef
**RESPONSIBILITIES OF ALL KITCHEN MEMBERS**
- Prepares all food & MEP per Ravens specifications
- Properly cooks all dishes per Ravens food specs, including weights, sizes & presentation
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products made/and or served
- Checks there is enough MEP to carry throughout the day and product is up to proper quality
- Receives deliveries & ensures proper rotation of deliveries, prepped food items & dry goods
- Ensures proper rotation of all food items on the line and in prep
- Has full knowledge and understanding of food par levels
- Section is set up with equipment, tools & food for a successful service
- Maintains equipment in good working order, as if it were your own equipment at home
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including floors, walls & storage area
- Makes sure to use right chemicals for each task, knows where chemicals are kept & how to refill
- Check all your products before serving, if it doesn’t seem right, tell someone
- Keep a clean uniform, never wiping your hands on your apron. Utilize hand sinks
- Make sure to fill out & follow Ravens Kitchen Checklists (MEP lists, Schedule of duties/Cleaning check lists, Opening & Closing Checklists, etc..)
- Works well with food safe
- Proper wrapping, labelling & product rotation “use first” labels used on oldest products and pushed to the front of stock
- Keep waste and spoilage to a minimum, rotation, portioning, yield, storage
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week
**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
