**Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do**
- Perform general maintenance duties (i.e. office moves, painting, lighting, janitorial, minor renovations etc.)
- Maintain steam plant and associated equipment /infrastructure
- Maintain centralized cooling system and associated equipment/infrastructure
- Welding, light fabrication
- Maintain mechanical systems parts inventory and recommend replacement orders
- Troubleshoot and repair or recommend repairs for equipment
- Create maintenance plans and schedules
- Coordinate work activities with other departments
- Assist manager with large projects
- Give guidance and direction to lower level technicians
- Work with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs
- Operate site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary
- Support facilities emergencies
- Oversee all repairs of equipment
- Hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Work in a safe manner. Be conscious at all times, of safety on the job, by adhering to the established health and safety measures and practices of the company. Report workplace hazards and any violations of the relevant legislation to the employer.

**Your passion is sparked by**:

- Must posses a trade certification preferably millwright, plumber, steam fitter or mechanical related trade.
- A willingness to learn the role from the ground-up with an experienced teacher to guide you
- Experience and/or certification in various building trades
- Basic building systems knowledge
- Computer literate (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet)
- Lift truck certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
- Ability to use powered tools safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for long periods of time
