**Job description**

Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to build the social, health, economic sufficiency of marginalized, low-income and newcomer groups. The Program Supervisor will assist in providing administration and supervision for program and services to the community.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in providing administration and supervision for program services as well as day-day operations
- Assist with program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Monitor programs and services to ensure consistency with program plans as well as the goals of the organization.
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of programs and make improvements based on member feedback and evolving needs
- Assisting with developing and implementing new programs and services, including the redesign of existing services, consistent with community needs and funder requirements.
- Organize and monitor program schedules, deadlines and track progress
- Plan and implement all services and their activities in accordance with the mission, values and strategic direction of the organization.
- Work closely with the project coordinators in the administration of the programs and services
- Develop and implement needs assessment process to ensure the project activities, training curriculum and resources meet the specific needs of our communities
- Represent HSDC and professionally in the community by attending meetings, participating and collaborating with community partners and stakeholders on various projects and initiatives as requested or required
- Compile and report on the monthly, quarterly, and annual program statistics including collection of tracking data, statistical analysis of data and client satisfaction surveys
- Ensure effective program evaluations are undertaken and necessary program adjustments are made
- Participate in program implementation processes as needed
- Participate in program reports and grant writing processes
- Identify and solve problems that impact the management, direction, and outcomes of the programs and services
- Other tasks as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 2 years in a full-time supervisory or managerial role
- Communicates in a clear, professional and respectful way; demonstrates active listening.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the position through attendance, punctuality and enthusiasm for work.
- Passionate and enthusiastic for supporting corporate social responsibility efforts that give back to communities, encourage employee engagement, and promote brand reputation
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Interacts with others in an inclusive, collaborative and respectful way that creates effective working relationships.
- Proven leadership abilities
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Zoom.
