We are a family run business looking to hire an experienced hardwood floor installers. We are also willing to train the right individual that is looking to learn this trade, someone interested in long term employment. We are looking for someone that is ready to start now.

Pay based on experience and abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants; **Prepare floors for installations; ** Prepare and install hardwood floors; **Conduct moisture, ph., temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations; ** Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered; **Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding; ** Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants; **Prepare floors for installations; ** Prepare and install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means; **Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings; ** May estimate material and labour costs.

**Salary**: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- flooring installation: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
