Mach85 is looking for a new Technical Sales Specialist to join their team.
Mach85 is an exciting company focused on new technology development. They have developed several proprietary software/hardware solutions for the engineering world and have recently won an award for the top innovation in Canada for the construction industry. Their products primarily focus on camera-based engineering measurements, and they have worked with some of the largest companies in the world in many different sectors.
The Technical Sales Specialist will primarily focus on selling a 3D measurement software/hardware package; however, they will also be involved in selling other products/services that Mach85 offers.
The duties of the Technical Sales Specialist will include:
- Finding new customers
- Maintaining existing relationships
- Closing deals
- Performing demos of the products
- Attending trade shows and conferences
- Helping with sales/marketing plans
The Technical Sales Specialist should ideally have the following abilities/qualifications:
- A background in engineering or other relevant sciences
- Ability to learn complex topics quickly and explain them in an easy-to-understand manner
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering/material science concepts such as stress and strain
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to travel
- Knowledge of Digital Image Correlation is considered an asset
- Experience with cameras is considered an asset
- Experience in sales is considered an asset
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$1,000,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
