**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
The primary duties of this position are to process bi-weekly payroll with a high level of accuracy in a timely manner. Organize and prepare all workflows initiated by Human Resources from completed Personnel Actions Forms. Process transfers, terminations and leaves within the required timelines and pay cycles. Calculate all earnings, benefits and deductions payroll adjustments. Prepare Record of Employments, analyze pay discrepancies and enter adjustments in daily time and UKG Dimensions timecards. Calculate retroactive payments, maternity top ups and pension buy backs.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Three-year Community College Diploma in Accounting and PCP Designation or equivalent education and experience
- Canadian Payroll Association, PCP Designation

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Demonstrated basic knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and good computer skills
- Demonstrated customer focused/driven attitude and positive customer philosophy
- Accurate keyboarding skills (40 wpm)
- Demonstrated knowledge in the preparation of Payroll in a computerized environment using scheduling software including relevant income and deduction calculations
- Demonstrated knowledge in working with various union contracts as they relate to income premiums and benefits
- Responsible for bi-weekly payroll being issued accurately and on time and that all confidential information is maintained
- Demonstrated knowledge of R.O.E.’s, E.I. audits, and T4 and T4A’s
- Accurate mathematical skills
- Familiar with using Web based programs for reporting R.O.E.’s and E.S.E. for Hospital Pension
- Able to work additional hours as required
- Able to use standard office equipment including a computer, laser printer, label printer, fax machine, multifunction photocopier, calculator, and telephone
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and follow current privacy regulations
- Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively over the telephone, with patients/families, staff and physicians and the community
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgement when making decisions
- Demonstrated good team work skills and ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive attitude within the team
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with precision and accuracy with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated patience and flexibility to support multiple client demands
