Parsons ICF Construction is a custom residential home builder that primarily takes on custom home and large renovation projects in and around the Bridgewater areas, with a staff of around 30 people. We are a company that has developed a strong reputation of producing excellent quality work over the past 15 years.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Shop / Warehouse Coordinator provides fast, friendly service by ordering and or delivering supplies and providing necessary equipment and tools to our construction sites. Customer service to our internal team is your top priority, and you will go above and beyond, while providing fast, accurate and efficient service, while following company policy and procedures when it comes to safety. Coordinating and tracking all of the company’s tools and equipment is paramount, while being proactive by them serviced appropriately. You are positive, enthusiastic and perform well under pressure in both team and individual environments. When not providing exceptional service to our internal team, you will be required to maintain the job sites, office grounds and shop cleanliness.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

- Strong leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of building materials, products and lumber.
- Possess a high level of attention to details.
- Order or pick material for customer orders, assemble material and deliver appropriately to construction sites.
- Inform your supervisor of any inventory discrepancies and damaged/defective material that would impact construction.
- Ability to read invoices and product return paperwork.
- Ability to understand and fulfil instructions received orally, in writing or in diagram format.
- Ability to use basic principles in problem solving situations that arise both in the office and on site.
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work with basic Microsoft Office as well as other tool tracking software.
- Follow all Health and Safety rules and legislation while performing job functions
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, fast paced and dynamic workplace
- Inform supervisor of any safety issues within the warehouse and lumber yard
- Help internal team as needed
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Strength: Be able to lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Work in outside environment, will be exposed to the weather.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

- Drivers Abstract will be required as company truck and dump trailer driving will be mandatory

HOURS & SCHEDULE:
This position is a 40 and hour a week

Monday to Friday

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
