Printing Press Operator

Glenwood Labels has been in business for over 50 years, we are well established and one of the largest label manufacturing printing companies in Western Canada.
As a Flexographic Press operator it will be your job to take raw paper material and convert it into a label. This is a fast paced manufacturing job that requires skill and problem solving skills.
**Responsibilities**:
- Setup jobs and operate multi colour flexo press, adjust machine based on job specification
- Mixing Inks
- Mounting Plates
- Mounting Dies
- Printing jobs according to job ticket instructions
- Matching print quality and colours
- Work well with other members of staff
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs
- Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required
- Carry out the directives of management
**Responsibilities**:
- Minimum 2 years Flexographic or Litho printing
- Water-based and/or solvent-based ink handling experience an asset
- Comfortable with measurements in imperial systems
- Mechanically inclined and a logical thinker
**Free Parking and easily accessible by Skytrain.**
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
