**Career Opportunity**
As the Group Controller, you will play a crucial role in streamlining financial processes, maintaining fiscal transparency across the dealerships, and provide support to a team of 8 controllers. We are searching for someone who can work closely with our CFO to advance the production of innovative ideas, challenge the status quo, and encourage creativity within the team.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of multiple dealership locations.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain fiscal transparency.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment among Controllers.
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for each dealership.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasted targets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize profitability.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity for the group, including cash reserves and investments.
- Implement effective cash management strategies to meet financial obligations and maximize returns.
- Oversee compliance with manufacturer’s warranty programs and related reimbursement processes.
- Evaluate the financial impact of sales promotions and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure that all tax obligations are met.
- Coordinate financial audits and reviews, including Audit schedules.
- Identify financial risks and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and data.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to the senior management team.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- CPA would be an asset
- Significant experience in the automotive industry, ideally with exposure to multiple dealerships
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and manufacturer requirements
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Excellent communication skills
- In-depth Knowledge of CDK
- Experience with OneEighty and DeskIT would be an asset
