Optician/pretester

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform frame selection based on patient's needs, preferences and prescription

Educate patients on the appropriate lens options, designs and coatings

Frame adjustments/repairs/Warranty orders

Stay up to date with fashion trends, new products

Manage frame and contact lens inventories and returns

Manage patient invoicing and payments

Ensure all paperwork and documents are completed accurately

Perform contact lens trainings and assist with pretesting patients

Place orders online, receive inventory and verify lens orders for patients

Provide support to doctors, reception and optometric assistants with pretesting, imaging and answering phones

Prospective applicants must demonstrate that they are ready, able and willing to work in a team environment as well as show that you can work without direction. Wages will be based on education and experience.
