**The Opportunity**

We are a well-known trucking company and have immediate opening in our fast-paced Delta office. We're looking for individual who work well with others and to help with operations. The main function of the Dispatcher is to ensure a timely flow of information and audit incoming documents to ensure our data is accurate.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers
- Coordinate and modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Monitor any sudden route changes or delays
- Assist driver with routing directions and communicate proper execution
- Maintain high compliance to dispatch standards and operating procedures
- Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers
- Update customer web portals with up-to-date load information
- Monitoring driver reports to ensure equipment safety
- Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce transportation cost
- Ensure proper placement of trailer pool to support customer's daily requirements
- Audit incoming documents and perform data updates to ensure accuracy

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 2-3 Years of experience in trucking industry experience is required**:

- Multilingual is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent ability with Microsoft suite
- Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
- Ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT)/NSC rules and regulations preferred
- Positive attitude with good people skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and word) with an ability to quickly learn new Software
