LINKS Institute is a leader in the online provision of mental health and social service education in Manitoba. LINKS is a private vocational institute based in Brandon, MB, but offers services throughout the whole of Manitoba and other regions of Canada. LINKS requires part-time contract instructors for a variety of courses. Instructors can be located anywhere in Canada as long as they are prepared to teach synchronously in the central time zone.

Our school offers a suite of innovative programs to prepare students for support roles in mental health, substance use disorder, harm reduction, and settings which support people who are houseless.

**Responsibilities**:
Teaches course content using a variety of pedagogical approaches (lecture, group discussion, etc.).

Grades assignments and projects according to set timelines.

Listens and responds to student feedback and maintains a continuous improvement mindset.

Must be available and responsive to communication from management.

Proficient with technology.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:
Specific experience working with FNMI people is desired.

A minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree in a related field, e.g., : social work, psychology, psychiatric nursing, counselling, Indigenous studies.

Related work experience in a health or administrative field.

All combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience in instructing, training or facilitating.

Commitment to ongoing professional development in adult learning principles and methodologies.

Experience in instructing adult learners, including classroom management, student evaluation, and lesson planning is considered an asset.

Experience delivering content using online learning tools.

**Salary**: $27.50-$33.50 per hour
