Staff Pediatric Interventional Radiology Physician Positions
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), a teaching hospital affiliated with the University Of Toronto Faculty Of Medicine, is a world-renowned leader in health care, research and teaching. SickKids is a tertiary care, world-renowned facility, committed to providing excellence in care with a highly qualified, interdisciplinary, hospital-based medical staff. The Hospital has more than 300 beds and performs in excess of 6,000 interventional procedures (vascular and nonvascular) on over 5,000 patients per year.
The Pediatric Vascular Interventional Radiology division currently consists of 5 full time pediatric body interventional radiologists, 1 full time pediatric interventional neuro-radiologist, and 1 part time interventional neuro-radiologist. The Division works collaboratively and closely with surgeons and other disciplines as part of the Centre of Image Guided Care. The Image Guided Therapy Centre has recently consists of 5 modern image guided suites, including bi-plane angiography and 3T Interventional/ Intra-operative MRI.
