** Hosts & Bussers** to join our Guest Services team. With award winning wines and our locally inspired bistro menu, we are passionate about creating a memorable and knowledgeable experience.

**Description**:
Reporting to the General Manager, the job of a Guest Services team member is to participate in all functions of bistro and tasting room of food and beverages, process sales of wine, merchandise, and food using Light Speed and WineDirect.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of a Hospitality Team member include, but are not limited to:

- Greet guests, enthusiastically represent O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars brand, in an effort to provide a memorable, knowledgeable experience.
- Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
- Use Tock to coordinate Bistro Reservations and Tasting/Tour Appointments.
- Register guests (small groups) without an appointment into our appointment system.
- Organize seating, dependent on factors of weather, amount of staff, reservations, events.
- Control seating and initiate a wait list to ensure workload for kitchen.
- Rotate seating between servers sections (when applicable) to ensure even workloads for all.
- Periodically walk through of Bistro to determine the flow of service and the next tables coming available.
- Listen, take feedback, respond quickly, and take initiative with a sense of urgency.
- Assist Tasting Room and Bistro tasks/side duties as needed to ensure proper service
- Polishing Cutlery, glassware, place settings, stocking.
- Transfer of beverages from ‘service bar’ to the Bistro using service tray (for 19+ hosts only).
- With Bistro & Tasting Room teams, ensure washrooms are clean and adequate supplies are stocked throughout shift.
- Answer phones and schedule reservations, according to reservation policy.
- Continually learn and share information about our wine, winemaking, service, menu, daily features, events, wine club, merchandise, discounts.
- Alert assigned server if a guests has made a request.
- Report any unsatisfied guest to a Manager.
