Position Overview: As a Warehouse and Shipping Associate, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the warehouse by efficiently handling packing orders, receiving incoming shipments, and performing various labor-intensive tasks. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment will be critical in meeting customer demands and ensuring accurate inventory management. This can be a labor intensive role, all applicants must be able to lift 60 lbs independently and multiple times throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:
Packing Orders: Prepare and package customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring items are properly secured and labeled. Utilize packaging materials and techniques to protect products during transit and minimize the risk of damage. Verify order contents and match them with packing slips or invoices.

Receiving Incoming Shipments: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, comparing them against purchase orders or shipping manifests. Check for accuracy, quality, and condition of received items, noting any discrepancies or damages.

Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring products are properly labeled, stacked, and easily accessible. Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Collaborate with the warehouse team to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or shortages.

Labor-Intensive Tasks: Safely operate warehouse equipment following all safety guidelines. Load and unload trucks or containers, ensuring proper handling of goods and adherence to weight distribution guidelines.

Assist with general warehouse duties, including but not limited to restocking shelves, cleaning work areas, and disposing of packing materials.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards. Report any product defects, damages, or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials or fragile items.

Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and shipping carriers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues or concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize warehouse workflow and implement process improvements. Support a positive work environment by actively participating in team meetings and sharing ideas for efficiency enhancements.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, often in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols.
