**About the position**
Led by the Senior Manager - HR BASS, you will join a dynamic and diverse team of 5-6 Analysts collaborating to uncover trends and opportunities while resolving complex issues within our SAP & HR systems.
Further, you will have the full support of your leader and teammates to enhance your skills, experiment, and further your career through our customizable Learning & Development programs across various domains (HR, SAP, IT, Analytics, etc.) and relevant certifications.
**What you will do**
As a key member of the Business Analysis and System Support (BASS) team you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining the payroll/time management business processes and best practices.
In addition, you will:
- Be responsible for all activities of the SAP Payroll release management & SAP Time Management time evaluation cycle including gathering requirements, user acceptance testing, and facilitating collaborative system and data design sessions.
- Provide an overall analysis that contributes to the development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of payroll related systems that are used at the Bank.
- Investigate trends and irregularities to identify causes and make recommendations for changes to payroll/time management processes or systems
- Enhance service delivery, ensure data integrity and minimize operational risk in collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Partner with other departments, including Information Technology Services, and external technology suppliers to coordinate projects and system enhancements that are aligned with the HR’s strategic objectives and Bank-wide priorities and initiatives.
**What you need to succeed**
You are a self-starter with the ability to set priorities, monitoring ongoing projects and ensure deliverables are achieved. You are also able to quickly grasp, troubleshoot and diagnose complex and multi-dimensional problems and develop appropriate responses or strategies to address. Further, you have excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, technical specialists, and suppliers to resolve new and complex problems.
In addition, you have:
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role) working with SAP ECC Payroll &/or SAP ECC Time Management, and SuccessFactors
- In-depth technical knowledge and expertise of SAP Payroll configuration and/or SAP Time Management configurations and associated interfaces
- Knowledge of payroll/time principles, practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Advanced skills in SAP and MS Excel
**Nice to have**:
- Relevant certifications (SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), SAP Time, etc.)
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification

**What you need to know**
- Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
- Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
- Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability

**Hybrid Work Model **#LI-Hybrid**
The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will be expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person and to build connections with colleagues. For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
