Vancouver, Canada MED GRILL AND BAR Full time

We are looking for a Prep/Line Cook, for our restaurant and bar on Davie Street. The **MED Grill & Bar** will be where Greek fans can find our take on **modern Greek **and Mediterranean-inspired food. We are an 80-seat restaurant including a small patio in the summer months. Our menu will be focused on using seasonal produce and bringing a new fresh take to the Davie Street area. Open daily, we will offer a wide selection of craft beers, great wines, and a full bar with seasonal cocktails. We are fun with a modern pop art vibe, great music, and a fun atmosphere that hasn’t been in the west end yet. A Santorini vacation at your doorstep.

Working with our head chef, you will have an abundance of support with the back-of-house operations and systems as well as inventory and cost control procedures.

Assissting our back-of-the-house team by preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.

**Requirements**:

- Hard-working, hands-on team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Maintains systems & procedures for ordering, receiving storage, preparation & service of food.
- Must have a valid Canadian work permit.
- Having a valid FOODSAFE certificate is preffered.

**Experience**:
Prior job experience is beneficial not required.
