Lakeview Church is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to supervise our newly launching Lakeview Early Learning Centre. The Daycare Supervisor will be responsible for delivering early learning and childcare services in alignment with the Lakeview Early Learning Centre philosophy, including supervision and support for the Centre staff.

**Minimum Education and Job Related Experience**:

- High School Diploma.
- Experience working with kids and developing leaders.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid
- Criminal Record Check, including a vulnerable sector check
- Meet or exceed the qualifications of Early Childhood Education Level 1.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Child Care**
- Carry out developmentally appropriate programming for children ages 0-12 in collaboration with children, families, and community.
- Follow Center operational policies and procedures as specified in the Staff Handbook.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of children.
- Implement inclusive practices and programming.
- Assist children with all necessary care routines (e.g. diapering, toileting, hygiene, etc.)

**Staff Supervision**
- Schedule, supervise, and support staff.
- Communicate and collaborate with families, colleagues, Centre Director, and the community to support high quality child care.
- Act in place of the Centre Director in their absence.

**Administration**
- Maintain attendance records.
- Collaborate with Lakeview staff to maintain classrooms and equipment.
- Coordinate data entry & bookkeeping.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.90-$29.07 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
