Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced **Laser** Cutting Machine Operator** to work at its Brampton manufacturing location on the afternoon shift (3pm -11pm) and day shift (7am-3pm). From $23.44 per hour and up, tell us what your experience is worth and we'll see if we can make a deal

**Duties**
- Operate one or more laser cutting machines in a safe, efficient manner (i.e. setup, monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Perform basic machine maintenance (i.e. centering lens, changing consumables, emptying waste).
- Organize equipment and materials to minimize downtime.
- Perform material handling activities (i.e. locating material, loading/unloading machine) using an overhead crane or other material handling equipment.
- Complete all required documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complete assigned housekeeping activities and contribute to overall shop cleanliness and organization.
- Assist other Laser staff when work schedule permits.
- Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and practices.

**Requirements**:

- Comfortable with the use of computers.
- Overhead crane experience with valid record of training.
- Able to read and interpret nest plans and part drawings.
- Able to complete all required documents accurately clearly.
- Demonstrated safe work habits, commitment to quality, and attention to detail.
- Able to work an afternoon shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm) OR day shift (Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm).
