**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Truck Driver - (Surrey, BC)**
Reporting Directly to the General Manager, the Truck Driver’s duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
- Position will serve Surrey to Vancouver Island, delivering to the Victoria area
- Check to make sure equipment used by driver is in good operating condition
- Report any problems with equipment if faulty
- Load product on skids according to route
- Make sure total numbers of invoice match the number marked on route sheet for customers before leaving plant
- Put any top up product to finish the load before leaving
- Complete deliveries in a safe and efficient time frame
- Make sure all product is accounted for while making a delivery
- Make sure all relevant information is filled out on credit notes
- Make sure all C.O.D are properly received recorded and handed in
- RETURNS are put in the assigned areas in warehouse when returning to plant
- Drivers must do a post trip when returning at days end
- Drivers must wash out truck box once a week (mínimal) and fill out record that they have done so
**Qualifications**
- Class 1 Drivers License required
- Clean drivers abstract required
- Experience driving a delivery vehicle preferred, but will train
- Excellent time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
