Construction Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee concrete construction projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Crew Supervision: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of workers during concrete pouring and finishing operations. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed.
- Formwork and Carpentry: Plan and execute formwork strategies, ensuring safe and effective construction practices. Collaborate with rough carpenters to ensure precise measurements and alignments. - **Quality Control**: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues promptly. - **Safety Compliance**: Promote a culture of safety on-site by enforcing compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols. Conduct safety meetings and ensure all crew members are equipped with necessary safety gear. - **Communication**: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and any challenges encountered.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential challenges in the construction process and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, time sheets, and material usage. Prepare reports for management as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction supervision, with a strong focus on formwork and rough carpentry and concrete finsihing.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of concrete pouring processes, techniques, and materials. Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of addressing challenges in the construction process.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, first aid) are preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to [weight]) and perform physical tasks on-site.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at different heights.

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
