A well establish, fast growing and dynamic 3PL with multiple warehouses is looking for a motivated and energetic Shipping Supervisor with excellent organizational skills who is able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring proper inspection, packaging, and protection of outgoing products, and ensuring that deliveries are accepted and processed while meeting the company's SLA's.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:_
- Supervise shipping department staff and daily activities.
- Participate daily in exchanges on the status of the order flow.
- Plan a weekly schedule of present staff and assign tasks of various activities of the docks.
- Actively communicate with the Warehouse Manager to jointly plan for smooth operations.
- Decide on a daily basis when a load needs to be closed and advise chargers of what to do.
- Plan and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Ensure that the daily courier scheduled times are met and modified, if needed, to accommodate operations.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Shipping Supervisor
- Experience with operating a Forklift
- Must have a completed DEC (and/or a combination of education and experience)
- Bilingual, both written and oral
- Effective communication, management, and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
