- **Key Activities**_
- Adhere to Interval House policies, philosophies, procedures, and work practices, including remote work policies.
- Develop and deliver GBV prevention training across various platforms and geographic areas in Ontario, with the potential for travel nationally.
- Coordinate and deliver prevention programs, with a focus on engaging and educating within hypermasculine spaces.
- Identify, engage, and develop partnerships across the City of Hamilton and provincially with a focus on sports settings, classrooms, and workplaces.
- Work alongside and support program trainers, volunteers, mentors, and allies.
- Recruit and train new volunteers to deliver gender-based violence prevention programs.
- Evaluate GBV prevention volunteers and assign tasks and responsibilities.
- Participate in fundraising and attend fundraising and community events.
- Refer, advocate, and network within the various systems.
- Maintain and improve the branding of the program.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings, community meetings, committees, and related activities.
- Ensure the program and all activities are delivered through an intersectional feminist lens and the expertise and voices of women are prioritized within the work.
- Coordinate and perform various operational and administrative responsibilities such as data collection and providing research to support special projects including the preparation of the program reports as required by funders.
- Using a key performance indicator (KPI) as an evaluation tool, review data and ensure program outcomes meet established targets.
- Develop opportunities with community partners to increase development and sustainability opportunities.

- **Qualifications**_
**Education**:
**Completion of a University level degree**, or equivalent, in teacher education, social services, public relations, social justice, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in Instructor Training and Public Education are an asset, focusing on both online/in-person training skills and competencies. **Experience Two (2) years **of experience providing engaging training, public education, and/or educational and instructional courses. Demonstrated high levels of proficiency with training/educating, curriculum development and delivery, business planning, business communications, social media platforms and content creation software, and motivational training. Experience working within an intersectional feminist framework, knowledge of gender-based violence, and can effectively engage, motivate, and evoke change within a wide demographic. Demonstrated ability to build and strengthen collaborative partnerships and create pathways within hypermasculine spaces, including sport and workplaces.
- **Other Valid in**:_ First Aid/CPR+AED, WHMIS, Bill 168/132, AODA, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Danger Assessment, ASIST, Naloxone, proof of valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a fully insured roadworthy vehicle with an insurance minimum of two million in collision/personal liability or ability to meet all travel requirements of the position, original copy of police vulnerable sector clearance and able to meet the requirements of vulnerable sector standards for employment by our agency. Proficiency with video conferencing and social media platforms and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Able to meet COVID-19 vaccination policy. Bilingualism is an asset.
This is a highly mobile position and will require the incumbent to travel within Hamilton, across Ontario, with the potential for travel nationally. This position also requires attendance at community engagement and development meetings and work in public education settings. The schedule is predictable but can involve change and crisis management work.
