**_ Anticipated salary range for this role is between $60,000 - $90,000 per year depending upon skills and experience._**

**About the Role**:
SkyWatch is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful finance professional to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that blends core finance and accounting responsibilities with ownership over systems, reporting, and automation workflows.

You’ll oversee key financial operations (including payroll oversight, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting), while also playing a critical role in helping us refine and scale our financial systems—particularly NetSuite.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, can work independently, and is excited about improving processes through automation and smarter tools.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Finance Operations**
- Own and oversee the monthly payroll cycle in coordination with our third-party provider, including managing commission and bonus plan calculations
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Manage the credit card program
- Support month-end close procedures including bank reconciliations and the creation and maintenance of various schedules and lead sheets
- Maintain accurate general ledger data and contribute to audit prep and compliance

**Financial Reporting & Forecasting**
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Build and maintain rolling cash and financial statement forecasts (in tools such as Runway)
- Scenario modelling
- Help match cost centers to strategy—tying hiring plans and team spend to organizational milestones
- Collaborate with the Controller to support budget tracking and departmental reporting

**Systems & Process Improvement**
- Act as a key contributor to our NetSuite implementation and rollout
- Connect and ensure clean data across tools (BambooHR, Runway, accounting platforms) to support real-time planning and visibility
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across financial workflows (e.g., approvals, invoicing, reconciliation)
- Evaluate and collaborate with third-party vendors (e.g., NetSuite consultants, financial tools)
- Support the broader development of a scalable financial systems roadmap

**What You Bring**
- 3-5+ years in a finance, accounting, or FP&A role (startup or tech environment a plus)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (CPA designation is helpful)
- Experience with NetSuite, Xero, or other ERP/financial platforms
- Excel/Google Sheets power user; experience with data visualization tools a plus
- Ability to zoom out and see the big picture while executing detailed tasks
- Process improvement mindset; always asking, “how can this be better?”
