Position Summary
HRIS Implementation Specialist
On a practical level, you will
Coordinate the implementation, documentation, training, and maintenance of the new HRIS solution
Provide technical and analytical training and expertise regarding the new system and reporting capability to the Human Resources team
Prepare documentation for new and existing departmental system processes
Analyze HR data to ensure data integrity within the new HRIS system
Conducts quality assurance audits on different aspects of the various system and reports to ensure accuracy and data flow
Respond to employee inquiries regarding the HRIS implementation
**Qualifications**:
Experience supporting and troubleshooting the configuration of an HR system
Knowledge of and experience ensuring HR systems are compliant with data protection and accessibility regulations
Minimum 3 years’ Human Resources experience in a unionized environment preferred
Proven accuracy and attention to detail combined with expertise in HR process documentation
Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure
Concise and articulate in both verbal and written communication
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; excel at quickly gaining credibility and fostering positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Results driven with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Solid time management, problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (advanced user), Teams, and Visio
CHRP / CHRL designation an asset
Bilingualism in French/English an asset
What We Offer
Working at NYGH means working with a dynamic team of fellow healthcare providers, staff, and volunteers in one of Canada’s leading hospitals. This is a Full-time Temporary Position, of approximately 8 months, with 8-hour shifts, days shifts, in the Human Resources department.This is a hybrid position ,with the ability to work remotely much of the time; however, on-site work will be needed during testing and training phases of the project. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package which may include benefits, pension, vacation pay, or pay in lieu of benefits, when applicable.
