The Home Supervisor ensures that client services fulfill the goals and objectives of the Agency and are provided in a manner consistent with the Agency philosophy, policies and procedures as well as professional standards stipulated by legislation and funding sources.

The Home Supervisor responsibilities include:

- Participating as an effective member of the Management team in the planning, development and implementation of client services both clinical and non-clinical.
- Instrumental in Client and staff support supervision, scheduling and professional development.
- To work hands on with individuals who have developmental disabilities in a supported group living environment. To support the Individuals in your Group Supported Living Environment in their physical, social, spiritual, psychological, educational and vocational needs.
- Oversee the day to day operations of the group home.
- Ensure medical appointments or external appointments are scheduled and attended as required.
- Create a home atmosphere for clients, to maintain in house routines and facilitate the clients learning, participation and ownership. Including monthly property maintenance, menus and adhering to Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- Qualifications_:

- Demonstrated skills and strengths in leadership, time management, networking and the ability to work collaboratively with external professionals, community members and partners.
- Advocacy and flexibility are key components required to be successful in this managerial position.
- Use the necessary skills and abilities to communicate effectively and to prioritize responsibilities and workload.
- First Aid/CPR and NVCPI certificates are requirements of the position.
- Required to submit proof of Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Clearance.
- Valid “G” Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Fully Covid-19 vaccinated and must provide proof of valid Covid-19 vaccinations to the Agency.
