Niagara Falls, Canada Mini Mart Gift Shops Full time

We are currently looking to hire Gift Shop Cashiers Our gift shops are located on Clifton Hill in the middle of the Niagara Falls tourist district as well as our Mini Marts located inside the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview and Four Points Niagara Falls Fallsview hotels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Exercise good public and customer relations skills at all times. Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Process cash/debit/credit transactions.
- Provide help when needed and answer any questions that guests may have or direct them to where they can find an answer.
- Comply with all health regulations, and company policies.
- Perform all side duties such as cleaning, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Job Skills**:

- Use arithmetic to total costs and make change.
- Communicate with different kinds of people to find out what services they want and to give them information.
- Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.
- Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle money, merchandise, etc. Able to lift 20 lbs. maximum

**Qualifications**:

- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Cashier/Customer Service Experience, 1 year minimum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

- Holidays
- Weekend availability

- Convenience store
- Specialty store

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Niagara Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
