Non-ferrous Bailer

**Overview and Responsibilities**:
**You will be responsible for grading and sorting material. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to add to our team and be a driving force in our service delivery, operations, and growth. The incumbent will report directly to the Operations Manager and play a leading role in day to day operations. This position requires safe and efficient work habits, a working knowledge of both ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials, as well as effective customer service skills.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- **Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals**
- **Classify the non-ferrous and establish the type of material**
- **Ability to work safely and independently**
- **Perform minor repairs and upkeep to equipment**
- **Maintain cleanliness of sorting areas**
- **Work outside in a variety of weather conditions**
- **Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required**
- **Knowledge of Sierra Bailer equipment is an asset**
- **Good physical fitness, team oriented**

**Requirements**:

- **Experience in scrap and metal recycling**
- **Ability to safely use or be trained in use of various power tools and equipment**
- **Working knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials and grades**
- **Experience in operating a forklift**
- **Work with a safety oriented mindset**
