Vancouver, Canada Tender Loving Care Nursing Full time

**We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Aides for long-term care home**

Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents during mealtimes, including feeding assistance when required.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and other prescribed activities.
- Ensure residents’ rooms and personal items are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow care plans as directed by nursing staff and document care provided.
- Maintain a safe environment by following infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in delivering personal care with kindness and respect.
- Experience in long-term care or similar care environments preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care and strategies for managing responsive behaviors.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
- Compassionate and patient approach to care.
- CPR and First Aid trained (preferred).

Must Have
- Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
- TB test results, immunizations, and clear criminal record check.

**Compensation** depends on level and years of experience.
