In this role, you will work closely with our Service Manager at our Markham Head Office. This position is classified as associate level with the opportunity to develop into a more advanced role (Service Coordinator) in the future.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Guide the billing process for service calls and small projects
- Promptly produce and submit work orders and invoices to suppliers or subcontractors for assigned jobs
- Create work order/job numbers and assigns to technicians or subcontractors
- Being the key point of contact with customers and technicians on small projects and escalating issues to Project Managers as required for all administrative paperwork
- Handling all the documentation requirements associated with the smooth and successful execution of service calls and small projects
- Provide administrative coverage for other service team members as required
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- An individual with at least One (1) year of billing experience (ideally in the **Skilled Trades/Service **industry)
- An quick thinker with exceptional attention to detail and a knack for working efficiently, even under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to stay focused and productive when working independently.
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environment, contributing toward shared goals with multiple stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with strong proficiency in tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear, concise, and professional interactions with colleagues and clients.
