In this temporary role, you will provide seamless support by overseeing both the commercial and operational aspects of the marine transportation business with a key emphasis in supporting the tactics helping to drive the success of marine operations.

Minimum Requirements:
- Industry leader with approximately 10 years of experience in the marine and shipping industry with an emphasis on chartering, operations and post fixture- Eight or more years of sailing experience and/or training in shipping- Preference will be given to qualified Master Mariners and Chief Engineers (Class 1 FG/Unlimited HP) with experience on Off-shore vessel operations- Ship Inspection Report/Chemical Distribution Institute/Offshore Vessel Inspection Database vetting experience is preferred- University and/or post-graduate degree

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide expertise on marine technical and commercial matters, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations of shipments of crude oil, products and equipment- Coordinate safe and economical marine transportation for both domestic and international trades- Liaise with marine terminals (both owned and others), refineries, regional supply offices, ship owners, agents, surveyors, and expeditors on all matters related to marine movements- Administer affreightment contracts for the Director Marine- Keep up with all operational matters with clients and suppliers and provide updates to the Director Marine- Prepare a weekly schedule for all movements under your responsibility- Support vessel vetting and clearance program- Input cost and cargo data relevant to movements into the marine system- Ensure cargo inspection services are available for each voyage- Verify relevant invoices for movements & approve as necessary- Ensure company and regulatory industry compliance

Location and other Key Details:
- This is a temporary position for a period of 12 months- This is an office-based role with some travel is required.- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs and on-call expectation- This position is safety sensitive
