**Job Summary**:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of AP specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze AP reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review.
- Support ERP system transitions and upgrades, including testing, training, and documentation.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage escalations professionally.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience supervising and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and willingness to lead system transitions.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AP automation tools.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with IFS or similar ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated success in change management and process optimization.
