Experienced - G Class Delivery Truck Driver (3 Ton

**Yard location: Chatham, ON**
**Workdays: Monday to Friday**
**No Weekends**
**No Statutory Holidays**
**Shift time: 6:00AM to 4:00PM**
- **Overtime: is based on freight volume and delays ie. weather, mechanical etc.**_
- **What you will do**:

- _**Drive a 3 ton Refrigerated Truck to deliver & pick-up freights to assigned stops in Chatham and surrounding areas and or Windsor**_
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time_**(30 to 35 deliveries daily)**_
- _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck (lift up to 60lbs)**_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
- Clean CVOR and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset
- Must have 1 year _**COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVING**_ experience on the road
- This shift will be Monday to Friday. 10 hour workdays with start times from 6AM to 400PM. Overtime will be paid.
- At times capable of doing physical labour with a great degree of strength and stamina - _**Lift or carry up to 70lbs,**_ _**handbomb, use dolley and offload skids with the use of a pallet jack**_
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
