**Maintenance Coordinator**

This role’s key responsibility will be to improve the efficiency of the Maintenance & Sanitation Team through effective planning, scheduling and coordination of both monetary and non-monetary assets. He / She supports and informs key personnel (both internal and external) of modifications, materials, systems, process or any other requirements to optimize production.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance scheduling, equipment purchase & budget tracking, SOP development, risk management, and process optimization to ensure production runs smoothly.

This position is a new role at Del’s Pastry and will require an entrepreneurial attitude, exceptional communication skills and 50/50 split between administrative and non-administrative/technical duties. **General Information**:

**General Duties**:

- Develop and implement maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, predictive maintenance, facility maintenance and shutdown maintenance.
- Manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient execution.
- Complete various projects assigned by Maintenance Manager.
- Manage and optimize resources, including parts, materials, labour, and equipment.
- Track and analyze costs to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Cross functional communication between maintenance/operations/sanitation/quality assurance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and suggest areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, food safety regulations, and other relevant regulations.
- Administrative duties including (but not limited to): reporting, SOP development, employee scheduling, budget management.
- Work with variety of subcontractors.
- Integral role in the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- Ensure food safety remains high priority and is an ambassador for a food-safe culture.
- Any other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering Automation.
- Technical knowledge - understanding of various pieces of equipment, facilities, maintenance processes, safety regulations, and systems.
- 3 + years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in a food production environment.
- Exceptional mathematical skills and able to complete calculations quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, SAP, CMMS.
- Must be adaptable in start up environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, organization and project management skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
