Full time medical office assistant (MOA) for a busy single-doctor specialist Richmond clinic

Requirement: MOA certificate or equivalent (preferably with medical background).
Monday to Friday, 30-35 hours/week.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and able to learn fast
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Computer and typing skills (50+wpm)
- Familiar with EMR program (preferably Accuro)
- Duties include greeting and registering patients, answering phones and receiving messages, preparing and filing medical records/files, booking and confirming appointments, preparing examination rooms, collecting payment using POS machine; screening patients and following Covid protocols
- Must be fully Covid vaccinated to work in healthcare

Compensation to be determined based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $34,000.00-$36,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks, acrylic panes, Covid screening, regular cleaning of surfaces

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond, BC V7C 5L9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical Secretaries & Patient Registrars: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Medical office assistant certificate (preferred)
