**Job description**

With over 30 years in business The Vinyl Window Designs group of companies has become one of the foremost Window companies in the Greater Toronto Region. The group manufacturers and supplies Aluminum and Vinyl windows to both the construction industry and to the residential renovation market.

**Experience / Capabilities**:

- 3+ years of Quality Control experience.
- Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment and interpret metric/imperial systems.
- Solution focused and comfortable working in an environment which demands robust deliverable.
- Ability to multitask, organize your time and meet multiple deadlines.
- The ability to identify problems and execute appropriate solutions.
- A self-starter, motivated and perform well in high-pressure environments.
- Strong work ethic, action oriented and desire to achieve excellence.
- High comfort level working in a fast-paced team environment and repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Hand-eye co-ordination.
- Working knowledge of insulate glass (IG unit), glass cutting, glass washing or polishing, spacer and grilled glass.
- Measure and check production samples to asses conformance to specifications.
- Ensure correct operation of machines and verify specified processing conditions and make adjustment.
- Very high integrity, ethical and trustworthy.
- High comfort level working autonomously and require little day-to-day oversight and direction.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
