Our quantitative equity team is expanding, and we are seeking a Junior Trader in Vancouver to support our trading operations, ensuring efficient market execution and portfolio implementation. This role sits at the intersection of trading, technology, and data-driven decision-making.

**What You Will Do**

As a Junior Trader, you will:

- Assist in the execution of daily trades across global markets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Display clear and effective communication through daily interactions with our external counterparties, representing CCL’s interests, values, and codes of practice.
- Monitor market conditions, trade execution, and portfolio exposures in real-time.
- Collaborate closely with trading teams, portfolio managers, and technology teams to optimize trading strategies and workflows.
- Maintain and improve trading infrastructure, including execution algorithms and risk management tools.
- Work with brokers, vendors, and other external counterparties to enhance execution workflows.
- Contribute to post-trade analysis to refine execution strategies and reduce market impact.

- **Academic Background** - A degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related field. Progress toward CFA or other relevant certifications is a plus.
- **Ability to Work Under Pressure** - You excel in high-stakes situations and can make sound decisions quickly.
