**The Opportunity**

TransX has an exciting opportunity for a **Payroll/Settlements Administrator** in our Winnipeg head office. Reporting directly to the Payroll and Settlements Manager, the Payroll/Settlements Administrator will be responsible for providing support to various team members of the department.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reviewing and entering all employee payroll information into system for payroll processing in an accurate and timely manner.
- Plans, organizes, supervises, coordinates, monitors, and troubleshoots payroll processing functions.
- Importing employee payroll for Canada and US jurisdictions
- Corresponding with various departments and terminal locations on a regular basis, specifically regarding office payroll policies and guidance.
- Attending and participating in planning and evaluation concerning the payroll and accounting systems, benefits, and other compensation related matters.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) or CPM (Certified Payroll Manager) Designation strongly preferred.
- Post-secondary education with a focus in payroll, accounting, or finance preferred
- Previous payroll processing experience for both Canada and USA, ideally within the trucking/transportation industry
- Knowledge of payroll standards in both Canadian and US jurisdictions
- Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel.
- Understanding of Owner/Operator payroll
- Keen focus on providing customer service excellence to internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing tasks and timelines
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong data entry skills
- Detail-oriented with strong revision skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding and time sensitive work environment
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
