Cochrane, Canada Bloom Childcare Centre Cochrane Full time

**Bloom Childcare Centre Cochrane** is a new childcare centre in Cochrane that has been operating since March 2024. We are a Christian daycare seeking a **Director/Assistant Director** to join our growing team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the center, and it requires expertise in program planning and strong leadership abilities. This position has **a*potential for growth within**Bloom Childcare Centre.*

**Qualifications**:
A degree in Early Childhood Education or Childcare Supervisor Certificate (Level 3) is required
- Minimum of three years of relevant practical experience
- Experience in Early Childhood administration as a director
- Proficiency in children's development, organizational policies, and human resources procedures
- Proficiency in English language
- Strong professionalism and enthusiasm for serving children and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
- Conflict Management and Resolution

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure smooth operation of the childcare centre to serve children and families best
- Maintain compliance with Alberta licensing requirements and program plans
- Manage documentation for health, safety, and licensing
- Foster positive relationships with parents and conflict management skills
- Manage childcare funding submissions, including wage top-ups, subsidies, grants, professional development, and strong administrative and excellent computer skills.
- Manage attendance records, activity planning, and events
- Collaborate with marketing to maximize centre capacity by handling tours, registrations, waitlist management, and timely space-filling
- Coordinate staff scheduling and recruitment processes.
- Provide supervision, leadership, and support to centre staff
- Collaborate with the management team and colleagues and perform assigned duties accordingly

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
